Wow.... insane. They talk about how the CMV was going too fast for the road yet he wasnt the one who lost control. Absolutely bonkers. Jury is nuts!

 

From what little I’ve read and digging around I’ve done, the pick up had been in the lane for a period of time before Werner hit them, if that’s the case, then the jury was correct in their verdict. If that wasn’t the case then Werner got screwed.

 

They're also penalizing Werner for lack of safety communication.

They didn't allow the driver to make use of safety notification systems.
