Most W900 are built in Mexico nowadays.

If it's red stay away. How much are you willing to risk?

You mean an X-15, not an ISX, right? 2018s have the new X-15.
What exactly are the problems with the truck build?

    KB3MMX Thanks this.

Not one Kenworth Class 8 truck is built in Mexico that is sold in the US market. Only the medium duty's are. One of our trucks is a 12', it had the fuel pump replaced to fix the faulty one. What's the liner issue?

Well it's 6 months later, so I thought I'd resurrect this thread: how are your x15's performing? I've heard some disappointing (to me) mpg figures from the performance series.

    KB3MMX Thanks this.

That's good. I heard of one guy who was only getting 5.5mpg with a performance 565 in a 389 and only pulling 80k. I have no idea how he drives. To compare, I know of a fleet that regularly gets 5.5 pulling 140k gvw powdered cement tankers. That's a fleet average using all sorts of engines.

I don't know why you would spec a performance series and then complain about the mpg's? What rear ends and speed is the truck normally operating in? If you want fuel economy then spec for fuel economy.

    KB3MMX and Ruthless Thank this.
