The other thing is I'm going to get killed on taxes.
I'm going to make a years worth of payments on Casper.

Can do that for next year too, then he's paid for.

    Dunno. I like the 680.

Good predicament to be in I suppose.

Now if one comes up that's just a steal, then that is gonna be a predicament.

Well the isx was a first generation dpf motor. So dealerships would fix codes based off insite, but really a lot of those problems boiled down to the imap sensor, the differential pressure sensor and the exhaust back pressure sensor. Then you had the cam failures which usually resulted from carbon packed soot blocking the oil passage to the cams. Then... with the newer post def isx’s They had the notorious fuel pump failures. But the 871’s were actually pretty solid in my book.

Then again having core knowledge and a real problem solver and not a parts changer made all the difference with that motor.

The new Volvo’s are NICE. I especially like their electric circuit routing. The load center is in an easy to reach place on a 2016 ish model I saw

The 680 is sweet. Best truck I have driven. Great ergonomics, laid out nice, etc.

The 2018 MX's have some redesign to them don't they? I know they are the only engine (or were) with a B10 rating. Meaning on 10% of the engines manufactured will experience a catastrophic failure before one million miles. What color is the truck?

    That particular one is blue.

    I'm more partial to white.

Color is way, way down the priority list.

I do love the 680 , but the Volvo (I will take a beating for this) has a better ride and will probably make more bank for you.
