The only draw back to a Volvo, is you gotta take it to a Volvo wrench if something goes wrong.
They ride different to me.
That place in Rock Springs I think it is....... "We have to go to dee over time rate. Dee over time rate is $187.50 an hour. You are OK wit dees? "
Went out to drop the trailer and code was gone, de rate was cleared.
Dude's going "You should let me look at it."

Honestly, and I don't mean to be disrespectful, but I think you've got money burning a hole in your pocket.
No need to buy new when you only have 500k on the clock. You've got at least 2-3 good years left.
My 2 centsfargonaz, tlalokay, spyder7723 and 1 other person Thank this. -
I would never buy anything new. Let someone else take the depreciation. But if you can pay cash and never be hurt, have fun. You only live once.

Oldironfan Thanks this. -
I drive a 2018 W9 day cab with a 500 Cummins, 13 seed, it has pretty good power, I only have 25000 on her so far and I average around 5.6 to 5.8, but I haul grain so I travel short distances all day
I haven’t been impressed with inside the cab, i have the leather interior and all that fancy stuff, but there’s all kinds of rattling. I have little foam pieces stuck all over and the clutch pedal vibrates and drives me nuts. It’s already been back to the dealer to be fixed but nothing has change. I haven’t been impressed for a 148,000 dollar truck.austinmike, fargonaz, Dave_in_AZ and 1 other person Thank this. -
A cummins can certainly help you end your career. Very easily if engine reaches end of warranty.

That's amazing. Casper doesn’t rattle, but I have my Allen's always at the ready and tighten things if I hear something develop.fargonaz Thanks this. -

But like I said, I'm gonna get killed on taxes.
And I've so had it with Freightliner's service.
All that being said I'd buy another Casper tomorrow if I could get a committed driver.
He is an excellent truck. -
