So I'm thinking about leasing a truck become an owner operator I'm wondering if the money is worth it. Where would one get a truck from .? Get it from those Chicago Craigslist advertising lease for owner operator ? What's the absolute best options? Should the lease come with the maintenance and breakdown coverage etc

Use the search function on the leasing and becoming an o/o and read for months then decide if it's for you or not.

The absolute best option?
Not leasing a truck.
First, work for someone until you understand how the transportation industry works and what lanes will make you money. Also try to learn what type of expenses you will incur as a truck owner.
Second, save up enough cash to buy a truck or put a large down payment on a truck that you will OWN. As in title in hand.
Third, make sure you have enough cash in the bank that you don’t need to ask who’s paying for your maintenance and breakdowns. -
