    Brush my teeth at the truck, usually a grassy section to walk out in while you brush.

    Lady told me one time as I was getting a subway sandwich how bad my load of cows stank. I said it smells like money to me, LOL.

    I take great pride in my appearance;

    Right now, as I write this while sitting in Bill's Truck Stop in Lexington, N.C., I'm wearing a two-tone pair of Dolphin shorts (pulled way up high), two black socks, a Duck Dynasty tank top, and a Micky Mouse hat.
    Funny thing is, no one seems to notice.

    KB3MMX, Dave_in_AZ and Jazz1 Thank this.

    I floss in the truck. I don't need water to rinse.

    Dave_in_AZ Thanks this.

    This thread reminds me of how hanging out in a truck stop is just like that cantina scene in "Star Wars"...

    Fueled at the j in Nephi Utah this morn and sure enough a railcan haulerpulled in beside me and parked at the pump ...slob wearing flip flops of course .
    I did tracter , def and reefer and when I left the low grade was still at the pumps not fueling.
    What inconsiderate pricks these people are and I take note of it ...cutting them no slack on the road.

    This is where a pump jockey would solve the problem. Walks up to the drivers window, "Fill her up"? The driver then has to either get fuel or pull out. No sitting for their 30.

    This is the new breed, drivers who we must contend with. These new drivers have no respect for themselves, did not grow up in, or around the industry. From my understanding, there are no real standards of hiring practices anymore. Due to the quote, on quote driver shortage (laughing to myself). They are hiring anyone with a CDL, and a quarter of a brain cell. The companies only care about getting their customers freight moved, and the monetary compensation for doing such tasks. No Pride from Companies, No standards, driver morals, ethics, values have been a long time gone in our industry. Sad, sad times we are in. I agree, as i have seen PJ's being worn, sandals, dirty clothing, cleanliness is next to Godliness, if this is the cae. Many drivers are going to Hell.
