Landstar So Far

OH GOD!!! California is going to run out of freight again, I just know it.

 

There was an agent once, that was really cool.
And she had some of the best freight there was, and it was 8 miles from my house, and it rarely hit the board, and there was about half a dozen of us that pulled it.

And this was before things went up.

Now she's gone. Vanished without a trace.

I found this out a little after Dad passed, cause I called and some woman told me in a condescending manner she was no longer there.

So. I was cordial, said if that stuff ever comes up, please consider me.

Not a peep for 5 months.

Today she calls and has the same rate. Her tone is the throaty seductive female, that has something up her sleeve.

It's still a competitive rate, but before it was top of the food chain.

All I could think of was Dan Akroyd on Saturday Night Live going "Jane you ignorant slut."

Didn't make any excuses, just told her no thank you.
She didn't even try to barter.

 

I'm just teasing.

 

Back in Phoenix tomorrow. It's all about the beer and steak for a day or two.
