    Just a heads up.

OSHP is out in force along I-70, coops are open, trucks and cars both being pulled over left and right.

I usually get a Drivewyze bypass message, but got sent across the scales on both the outbound trip yesterday and the trip back today.

They also seem to be ticketing/inspecting trucks parked on the on-ramps, especially trucks parked on the rest area ramps.

I'm sure every state is putting their troopers on the road, but I'm just reporting what I see on I-70 in Ohio. Be safe y'all...

When didn't Ohio be on a war path, I have more issues with Ohio than any other state. Yesterday pulled one of my trucks over on US30 for a hazmat check after he already had level one near Indiana. She was just filling her quota.

Seems different states have different approaches. I do mostly the tri-state area at night and I've seen dot exactly once in six months.

Ohio is always a problem state. I got inspected in Girard. I didn't even know they send you a ticket in the mail for certain violations. They always have so many trucks hemmed up there. I try to cross scales in Ohio after 5.

I grew up in southern Ohio in the late 60's and early 70's. Speed traps and cops with an attitude are just a way of life there. Got my first ticket there back in 1976 for going 46 in a 45. The judge was a friend of our family and told the cop to quit being an ***hole and leave people alone.

I live in a small town in Ohio and we have noticed the State Highway Patrol out a LOT more than usual all over the state. It use to be rare that we would see them unless we headed south towards Columbus but I've seen them at least 6 times in the past few days. We have also had an abundance of MVA's recently.
