You put enough down and the dealer might carry the note. Of course they are going to get full price and high finance charges. You should ask about early payoff penalties. You will have to carry full coverage, and the warranty could be an issue.

I would think a lot about buying a used truck. This guy was all happy when he first got started. Now only a year or so later his truck is down for good. He still driving not sure who truck. I think he said he was getting a new truck some how.

So.......you have 25K to put down on a truck, but you couldn't handle a much cheaper car note. According to your post, you clearly in the same line of work, so perhaps I missed something here..........
