Amazingly the number one user of smart devices today, especially for texting and surfing are seniors.

I think that fact comes from one of the trade organizations.

My dad and aunts who are in the late 80's and 90's all are more connected than my wife and I are, the aunt who is the oldest - 95 - has the newest of everything tech, from her super duper highdef 4k HUGE TV to her iphone. My dad went out about four years ago, bought a tablet and never looked back, he has never asked anyone to do a thing with it.

Me. This morning I worked on a SFTP problem for three hours, can't get an RSA cert to be accepted by an FTP client, but I bet I ask my aunt, she will tell me how to fix it.

Does Greatwide have an age restriction on trucks and trailers?
Do you get to choose your loads running on a loadboard? If so, do they have their own or they use a paid one like DAT or truckstop.com?
    How much is Greatwide percentage?

Not sure an the age, you can use therrs which is agents loads, are you can find your own loads, one thing must happened is a agent must bill the load, so in order for the load to be put in there system, only on agent can do, you get a g number which Link you and your truck from day one of the load, so you look for the load book the load then send it to any agent, run the load you want, no baby businesses here, only other down side is make sure the broker is good with us, ps, they don't like you to have there mc number, which you need to book the load, as one can tell you don't see it on any of our trucks, but there ways around that, they have five that I know of,

It would probably be a good idea to start out leasing to a company to start with and get a feel for owning his own truck. He could run under their authority and get their insurance. He wont make as much doing that as getting his own authority but it wouldnt cost him as much to get started either, and it would better prepare him for getting his own authority. JMO though.
