I roll with the seat as high as it goes. That's where I need it to be to sit up straight. If I used a fart mat it might be too high though.

Be careful.... I found out the easy way....
Speed traps.... 54 through the Oklahoma Panhandle... 54 into Tucumcari NM.... big time speed trap. You can tell how they set up the speed limit signs. Verified by another driver. $400 fines too.intrepidor, Metallica88, John B. Hood and 6 others Thank this. -
So are you still with the same company running that Volvo?
4mer trucker and WesternPlains Thank this. -
The super truckers who seem to think they can force trucks over to the white line. They need to bear in mind that we have drive cameras now. All I have to do is touch that camera. It records 30 previous and for five minutes. Have to have the office manually erase it. Turn that driving on the yellow line to the super truckers state of licensing won't do them much good. They'll start caring.
NoBigHurry and SingingWolf Thank this. -
I'm really liking this terminal. The other one.... I don't even want to talk about it anymore.
EDIT: Lost my Volvo with the old terminal. That's ok. Got a great ole Freightliner with a Series 60 engine in it. It's a darn good truck. I love it.Lepton1, 4mer trucker and SingingWolf Thank this. -
KillingTime, 4mer trucker and WesternPlains Thank this.

I don't think more frequently. I only asked him to give me home time about every two to three months. But I do definitely get it. And I get a week or more. Whatever I want. They asked me if a week was enough. It's good that I can plan on time.
The other place was just plain whacked out. Didn't know when, how, or anything.
This terminal....got a gal running it, but not the boss. She does a better job of keeping everything in good shape than all those people in the other terminal put together. We have no mechanic. She has stuff brought to the dealer or trailer repair. Right now my truck is at the dealer since I'm home. That's how she does it. Makes sense. No way the other terminal could do that.4mer trucker and SingingWolf Thank this. -
BTW: On that Series 60 engine in the Freightliner. It was originally CNG dual fueled. The CNG was so bad. They got rid of it. Rebuilt the engine. Only has about 100,000 miles on it now. I'm not even sure where the name comes from. It's basically a DD15.
4mer trucker and SingingWolf Thank this. -
So, you've been gone 3 months and just realized you forgot to let the cat out.
