Well I found out where Team Redcoat is headed. They're scheduled to make their drop in Newark, CA, Monday morning. So currently they are headed west on I-80. Redcoat was happy not to be going to New York although not so happy about I-80. But you can't have everything. At least they have a good trip. They have a high-security load of women's clothing. Redcoat put in a 14-hour day today and made it a little over 300 miles what with loading, fueling, weighing, and 2-lane roads. His teammate has the night shift and he says it's starting to snow.

    Stay tuned.

It is ok to tell where they are going, but it might not be safe to tell what they are hauling, especially expensive stuff that can easily be stolen and sold. Sure would hate for RC to be hijacked after all he has been through.

You also don't know if someone from Covenant might not be reading this.

Just trying to help keep your hubby safe and employed.

A trainer!? :biggrin_2555: No way! Don't have patience.... hahhahahah....:biggrin_25512: Now I am very happy in this Walmart dedicated. I am loving it! In less than a week I already ran almost 3 thousand miles. Have been driving an average of 6 and 1/2 hrs a day.... :biggrin_25519: This is almost like being in another company! :yes2557: DSP and load planer treat me well, very respectifully. Schedules are flexible, they give me a lot of window of time to deliver, I can send them my own ETA for delivery and there are plenty of loads waiting... Sometimes I get 2 pre-plans at once before I finish with one load. And get the load assignment as soon as I complete a trip. It's WONDERFUL! :biggrin_25520: Will be going to NJ and then Wisconsin. Sent you a pm. Happy trails.... :Road::smt020

Whooops! My bad. Didn't mean to be so free with the info. :biggrin_2551: Thanks Stranger for the reminder. Will keep that in mind for next time. Also will pass on the info from Peanut Butter this morning when I talk to him. Other from that, no news. All seems quiet on the Team Redcoat front.

I think I was at the Mr.Fuel in Indianapolis the same day Red Coat was at the Pilot.I was there for several hours. The Pilot was across the street.I wish I had went to the Pilot I might have been able to spot RC.
I have been keeping my eye out for Covanent trucks. It would be nice to meet Red Coat,MCR,or Rocks.
    I wish you all well.

    Latest update.

Team Redcoat just got done taking a break at the rest area near Donner Summit. Redcoat thought he was through the pass but when he saw a sign that he was at the summit he now knows he is only halfway so he's not too happy about that. However, he says the roads are clear and dry and it is just now getting daylight so he can see better. He has around 150 more miles to go I think to get to French Camp where they are going to make their drop. He has a pre-plan to drive for a couple hours to pick up a load headed to Kansas City.

So they are getting the miles which is good news. Other from that, I have nothing new to report or to complain about. :biggrin_25525:

Glad to hear they're keeping the wheels turning.

Here's a site with some webcams on that stretch of I-80.
