Job Termination

When you build up savings getting anywhere is not a problem. But when you are zero and need to work up from nothing then there are problems already. The bus ticket might as well be on the moon.

I once postponed orientation 4 months with a national company (ATS) in order to wash dishes at a fish fast food place. Built up a nice little pile in that time ready to go. I hate to say it but it was really a nice thing they did postponing that before flying me down.

Just had a royal flashback..... Have never even remembered it till this posted.

I ACTUALLY worked at a McD's for 2/3wks in high school (Back in the prehistoric stone age.....). It did not end pretty at all!

Please, please don't tell Prime....LOL

 

Don't know if they will hire him or not, but if they do not Prime will get him a ticket home on the dirty dog. They aren't going to abandon him on the streets of Springfield.

Lots of people get sent home in orientation for a variety of reasons. I've heard some that make me think the company should do better vetting before dragging people there, but it's all hearsay so who really knows.

I wouldn't believe all the "Prime doesn't hire people with _______" stuff either, my wife got hired and there were a couple of things in her history that I've heard would be a no go.

 

Truck driver FIRED from a driving job ?!?!?!? .... ive TRIED to get fired and cant seem to get fired. You said there is a possibility he could end broke and homeless if he doesnt get hired ? Your freind has serious issues and needs to look in the mirror. That is where he will find %150 of ALL his problems. Probably a democrat .....

Reality says otherwise ... very high turnover says truck driving isnt a good job for most people. Actions speak louder than words.

 

Ya good point lol .... stuff that bothers most people doesnt seem to bother me much. Mind over matter - if you dont mind , it dont matter.

Do you know any route from Commerce that cuts across to 75N? 92 is the only thing I have seen that might work.
