Illinois "NOT A DESIGNATED TRUCK ROUTE" sign?? WT% DOES IT MEAN?

    Not a designated route just means it's not what they prefer. The signs to look out for are "no trucks allowed" or "low bridge ahead". Everything else if fair game.

    OK, so, if Saia Freight makes it their main delivery route, they will object, but if Joe Blow's Truck drives there occasionally, it is ok?

    "not a designated truck route" means it's OK for trucks, but there are also other highways that are "more" suitable for trucks in the area....Make sense ?
