Had a driver that started today. He hasn’t worked in a few weeks. Left central NC and went to Georgia. Gps took him down no truck road and trooper stopped him, let him go on that but Looked at log book and driver put off last 7 days on one log page. Trooper said that was wrong and shut him down for 10 hrs. Was this way of recording wrong or trooper just being hard cause we on paper?
Out of service for log book

I don’t see what the problem is then. Sounds to me like your driver is correct.... have no idea why he was shut down.
magoo68, Bean Jr. and Opendeckin Thank this. -

Trooper is wrong. You’ll need to dataQ that
Did he get a ticket for the log book? If so it would be nice of you help him fight/take care of that ticket.Oldironfan, magoo68, Bean Jr. and 5 others Thank this. -

As long as the 7 days were all in the same month driver is correct, trooper is wrong.
kylefitzy, Oldironfan, homeskillet and 10 others Thank this. -
azheavyduty Thanks this.

Yes you can. You go off duty, list hometime and location, and there should be a place where you have a start and end date on that page to cover multiple days.
Now if he didn’t have it filled out correctly, that's another matter.MachoCyclone, DTP, Bean Jr. and 3 others Thank this.
