We have some pretty wild swings here as well, but on the warmer side. I deal with the summer heat better than I could deal with that -40 stuff, I promise ya that.

For me, somewhere in that range is the boundary between a long and short sleeve shirt.

    I prefer 30-50. :)

That feeling when you are running an Elog and you don't have enough time left to make it home because the shipper put too much product in your trailer, forcing you to dump the whole 95,000 lb load and try again.

But eh, I do it to myself because I work for a company that uses them. I can't complain and be whiny ##### like other drivers because I could very easily get the money to buy a truck and make things better. But I don't, because I have other priorities in life right now.

Anyways, in Moosomin for the night. No energy to go further. Heat combined with splitting the trains inside a hot building to unload them, just sucked everything out of me. Even if I had the time it probably wouldn't be safe to drive further.

Here's hoping tomorrow turns out a little better. And I get back to do the load transfers before it gets too hot.

My current parking situation for the night. BE7A7D2E-98B4-4C80-94C1-7737294C2E5D.jpeg I had to run as far as I could so I’ll have enough hours tomarow. Put me in this perfect / safe parking situation on the entrance to the oasis on 294 north just past the 55.
But at least I got a chicken teriyaki bowl out of the deal?

I don’t know how some of y’all do it. I can’t stand on/off ramp parking. I could sleep through a 30 in the middle of Iowa cornfields on an on ramp no problem. But Chicago? Lol #### that.

    Here’s my parking situation.

I get to yank a yellow tarp off in the morning after my delivery and throw straps and throw my own rags on it.

Bound for NJ. Hackensack. Should be good fun.
