BB1972 what Pigbacon said about the trucks in the yard was from first hand info. I counted the trucks that were empty at the time I turned my truck in. Disgruntled, not the man you’re accusing! Magnum has its fine points and like every other company it has its share of negatives. IMO Matt wanted to go the way of the mega fleets and when he started down that path things took a turn for the worse. Apparently all of those empty trucks have had an effect (negative) on the companies that were using Magnum as their carrier. As PB said, we were given surveys about what we (the drivers) would like a few times in the 3 years that I was there and nothing ever changed. I’m glad that Chad and Matt have decided to up the pay and look out for y’all as far as insurance. Hopefully things will turn around and improve. I still try and tell other drivers about Magnum, they were pretty good to me while I was there. I’ve just found a better opportunity

What I said by my post, that some of you took as an attack, was .... Magnum gave another pay raise. I haven't heard anyone complain they weren't making enough at Magnum.

This truck being empty thing has a lot to with the industry and the current economic cycle, but not all of it.
Whenever the economy improves people can more easily find decent paying jobs with a better lifestyle, like being home everyday so they leave the industry. When the economy declines they come back.ive done this long enough that I’ve been thru several economic cycles and it has always been the same. When companies stop screaming about needing drivers the economy will hit a downturn.

Never been late getting home.
With my daughter doing her thing they can, at times, route me by where she’s at.
