Just pulled out the glove box.everything is scured didn’t see anything loose.unless its hidden behind the ac ducts.ill keep looking.and it exactly sounds like something is loose and hitting the dash.i may end up pulling the top dash piece

Check the supports that come from the radiator and bolt to the fire wall.

I had one loose from factory and would bang or thump against the firewall .

Just grab the support from rad at firewall and give it a good shake.

Not seeing the support that comes from radiator to the firewall.the support that comes from the radiator to the coolant housing and engine are good and tight.unless you reffering to something else?

Your truck might be different then.

Mine has long rods that go from top of rad back to firewall on each side.

Maybe yours just go to the frame?

Two red wires on the bottom side of the turn signal stat. I cut the back red on further down the steering column in case i need to fix it. Sure enough, its the right turn signal so had to repair that.

Are you guys talking about the front red wire that looks like a jumper? Only the yellow and red jump are connected to that front plate.

From the WS Bodybuilder Book, clip that red wire and use electrical tape on the ends.

    Problem solved.

In what application is having the brake lights turn on and 4 ways off, the ideal situation?

I do many backs off country roads and its annoying when pulling up to a farm driveway but my warning gets confusing I think to the cars behind me because its 4 ways/brakes/4ways/brakes. Or even worse the approaching traffic just sees a truck slowing weaving across the two lanes of road.

When is that a good idea?

I never understood the reasoning for it either.

Well, I fixed all my Western Star issues. Finally I have no more hvac system that is deafening, fights between front and back and fogs up the glass. The solution was to sell the truck and get a brand that actually did a good job redesigning their truck. Western Star didn't give a #### about their customers since they crank out the same poor product for the last six years and haven't made any improvements.

I still have the Magnum moose bumper sitting in the shop and the Speakers LED head lights (high and low beam). If anybody is interested let me know.
