Pitfalls from speeding

None of it shows conclusively that humans are the cause. Nobody is disputing that climate change isn't happening. It certainly is. However, it's in cycles of warm and back to cold as well as other changes. But blaming humans for the sole cause is ridiculous and if you choose to believe what the UN wants you to believe that we, as a species as well as our food sources are the cause than put your money where your mouth is and leave Earth now.

 

64 from Williamsburg towards Va beach, and my sandbar, the cops will ignore most speeding unless your being dumb. As someone else mentioned so many speed through that area there is no chance of them catching most of them. If you go 64 through the HRBT they speed like demons. Speed limit through there is 60 or so, I forget. I tend to bypass the Hampton tunnel. To many dumb #####. I've yet to see a state trooper tag someone going under 70 unless they were being stupid(aggressive driving, tailgating, etc). Hell even in the slow down zone(construction) where it's 55 you rarely see them pull anyone over unless their being really dumb. An that's VA state troopers, their not always the friendlies of troopers in my experience.

Cross the state line into NC by Moyock an the Currituck county deputies will pretty much ignore you if your speeding at night as long as your not going over 70. I've watched people fly pass them an the cop just sit there an continue doing what they do. Don't do this during the day though. To much traffic usually an they will pull you over. The NC state boys...ha. Those ########( I mean that nicely) will yank your ### over to the side of the road so quick you'll think you were getting a prostate exam. The state cops get a lot of people down here.

Not sure about other areas but here on my sandbar an the areas around it I've noticed cops pulling people more an more while in motion. This is how the state cops get a lot of people on the highway by me. There is really no where for a cop to sit an where there is most people know the locations an compensate accordingly. Which is why I think they do the in motion vs stationary around me. Highway runs through a wildlife refuge so people love to open up an let loose.

NC is also a no tolerance state, but again...that's up to the cop it seems. I remember last year or maybe 2 years ago they did a big thing on the radio announcing "Zero tolerance" for speeding. I was laughing my ### off as people were freaking out. Thinking they would get pulled for one over. Cops loved it cause everyone was paranoid an didn't speed as excessively.


Far as global warming and all that...I'll ignore that an just say...there's people out there who believe FEMA is setting up concentration camps to hold US citizens, people who swear 9/11 was staged, the moon landing was faked as were the Holocaust, an many other things. Yet you all ridicule someone for being concerned about the planet? Hilarious. Oh an JFK was assassinated by the same Aliens who abducted Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Janice Joplin and 2pac.

I seriously doubt any of them truly believe a tenth of the wild catastrophic claims they are trying to scare us with but if they do truly believe the sea is going to consume places like Miami, I trust these scientists are vacating any/all beachfront property while prices are still high?????

Me thinks not. Regardless, if ALL the ice on both polar caps melted, I’d be surprised if the average sea level at continental edges rose more than a 1/4 inch, not the 30+ ridiculous inches or whatever I’ve heard claimed. They are literally useful idiots payed to promote a politically and socially motivated agenda.

Going to have to disagree with the parenting thing. I'm more of the opinion that it has more to do with mental functionality or the lack there of.

My father left when I was 5,.. my mother was an abusive alcoholic who would leave me at age 7 alone with my younger brother who was 3 for days at a time to fend for ourselves while she was shacked up with a new boyfriend. Then come home and beat the snot out of us for what ever reason she thought justified her actions. Life stayed that way until I was 12 and my brother and I became wards of the state,.. going from different groups homes to foster homes,.. even a mental evaluation facility.

That said,.. I basically raised myself. Foster parents are not really parents, none of them cared enough to be there for either of us. Staff members of groups home was just a job for them.

We as people develop our own mind set and values of what we determine as right from wrong, ethical and core values that set us apart from others. I think some people just have a chemical imbalance that disables them from seeing things in a rational way or the same way most normal people do. Thats why its so easy for them to become triggered by the slightest things that they disagree with. They cant digest things in the same way we do much less socialize with anyone that they determine is evil or racist. Their level of hatred goes beyond anything you or I understand. Narcissistic sociopaths for the most part.
