I like mine smokey and peppery. None of the vinegar based ones. Nothing sweet or tangy or overly hot. The chipotle and bbq flavored sauces are my preference.

If we're talking store brand, then I prefer Louisiana Hot Sauce. Cholula is good too. Not much heat, but I really like the flavor.
My favorite hot sauce, believe it or not, comes from Skyline Chili. It's a regional restaurant mostly found in Ohio and eastern Indiana, but they sell bottles of their hot sauce and I pick some up whenever I eat there. Which is usually when I need more hot sauce.
I've got some jalapenos from the garden in the smoker right now, and am going to try my hand at making some chipotle hot sauce. If it's good I'll share it around with my friends. If it's really good, I'll keep it all for myself.Coffey, Oldironfan and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -

I’m just a simple guy. I keep a bottle of Tabasco sauce in my day cab right next to my Johnson baby wipes.

My all time favorite is pure Green Habanero Pepper Hot Sauce. Have tried Franks, and several others, never hot enough.Oldironfan, Dave_in_AZ and Crude Truckin' Thank this.
