Hey Mr. @MagnumaMoose ... where have you been sir? Are you back in the truck? With the same partner or a different one? Just curious... you know....

 

At the home 20 for a minute. Departure time on the next round is up in the air yet. Grabbed a load on Saturday but I don't know if they will give that to me or someone else yet. No big deal either way. Thanks for asking. I got behind on this thread on my last trip. I hope I didn't miss anything important.

 

Important....? Errrr... I don't know.... Probably not....
But "you" are important here sir.... As most of all other members that come to this thread frequently....
Are you still teaming or going solo now?

 

Didn't some smart Alec say something about that pic somewhere else last week ? Some people seem to go out of their way to cause problems.

Or maybe he was earnestly attempting to warn the rest of us about something. To the best of his limited ability of course. Sometimes I wonder about that guy. Is he sane ? Borderline ? Or just light-years out there ? It seems to change from day to day. Almost post to post sometimes. At least most of y'all seem to be accepting of him most of the time. I guess he's harmless enough.

 

Still here at the Team place. Not super happy about it right now but...... still here for now. We'll see what tomorrow brings. That's just normal in a lot of lives. I'm trying not to look at the grass on the other side of the fence at the moment.

You do very well Mr. @MagnumaMoose ... hang in there sir... Time will come when it will be the right time for you to go somewhere else.... And you will get a much much better place....
I remember... I did endure... and HOW MUCH DID I ENDURE.... 6 very difficult months teaming in my former company.... Good for me that I had a friend.. a TRUE friend... in that company... He was Brazilian, and a trainer... I used to call him any time... night or day... as he used to be awaken most of the time... and I would vent, A LOT... and he would always listen and help me with his suggestions, ideas, words of wisdom... and that was priceless... that REALLY helped me to go thru those 6 months of mandatory teaming...
He would teach me how to work the system... the company system... he would tell me, "if the partner is not a "good" one, if this teaming is not working, just get another one and move on... Keep doing it... very soon it will be over and you will move on to the next step..." He gave me strength, encouraged me, lifted my spirit, made me laugh and relax when I felt like exploding.... And he would also call me... so many times, when he felt like smacking his trainee.... to vent too... and we would chat for hrs and hrs....
Anyway, I hope you find a good way to alleviate the stress and the frustrations and that soon you will be in a much better situation. Best wishes to you sir.... And I hope you keep coming back here...

 

Looks like I will have a new, better job very soon. I knew about this other place for almost two years now but I just found out that they are looking hard for drivers right now. Should be a rather quick process hopefully. Right down the street from me. Day cabs and hourly. 12 hour shifts. 3 day schedule one week and a 4 day week the following week. All the overtime you desire at the moment. Sounds great. Mostly local but sometimes they go out to Raleigh, Charlotte and head right back. Probably empty coming back. They have a variety of equipment I believe. I am thinking that they will have end dumps like Tall Mike is running right now but I'll know more tomorrow. It's a very environmental benefiting company, so it is a side benefit to know that the work is helpful for food production. We'll see.
