    I worked for Valmont for a year hauling loads like this and never loaded/secured like that or saw any outside carriers do it.

    Perfectly legal. You are required to have a strap FOR ever ten feet or fraction thereof. Plus one for not having a qualifying bulkhead. 46’/10= 4.6 round up to 5 plus 1 equals 6.

    That’s the way I would load something rigid on an arched trailer. Dunnage on the ends and straps near the dunnage. The only thing I would have done differently would be those belly wraps should go over the poles not under. That way the are also pulling the load down not just together.

    However.... the language is a bit different concerning the straps. My understanding is it’s a strap for every 10ft therein.... a dot officer may take that as you need a strap every 10ft. If you say a strap for every 10ft feet you’d be right too.....just depend on what officer you get

    Delivering to Pagosa Springs was good., but rates in colorado are unbelievably low...

    Well I'm in Baltimore, can I use that same theory but just go home when I unload? LOL.

    I agree, I've not seen much decent stuff come outta Colorado
