Yes, It appears that most all drivers are ok with the current hours of service.
    .
Ray Martinez asked for comments and has received 758 comments so far.
    .
My comment was to leave things the way they are now,

So lets see, 4 million truck drivers divided by 758 equals .0001895 of the drivers took the time to comment.

The 70 hour rule needs to be changed. A 7/70 or 8/80 would be better. Recapping 5 or 6 hours, shutting down early, then having to switch to driving overnight to make an early morning appointment is counterproductive. A two week cycle, such as a 14/150 followed by a 34 or 36 reset so you could run hard for a couple of weeks then rest would be even better.

The 14 should be extended for OTR drivers, also, by taking breaks for a certain amount of time. Drivers shouldn't be penalized for slow shippers, receivers, lack of parking, and other things beyond their control.

@JC1971 ..... Just curious you say, "The 14 should be extended for OTR drivers, also, by taking breaks for a certain amount of time."

    What makes OTR special?
