Truck stops all used to have attendants to fuel our rigs. And clean the windows and check the oil too.
Do you agree with reserved truck stop parking?

That’s why everyone stopped if they saw a broke down truck, it took about a dozen drivers to get that hood opened.otterinthewater Thanks this. -
I took my CB out of the truck many years ago because I got fed up with stupid disrespectful drivers. The CB radio was a whole different environment back in the early 80s then it is today. There was way more respect. -

There's one down there in Franklin where they'll be out there at night telling you where you can Make-A-Spot™ and not block anybody or be bothered in the middle of the night. It's across from a Flying J. Exit 2, I believe? Again I don't do that part of 65 much anymore.
As for the reserved parking, I get reimbursed for all road parking, so that's a yes from me, makes my life easier.
And with the vasculitis thing, before I got the compression stockings, I was reserving a spot even when the truck stop wasn't full so I could stay close to the building because severely swollen legs and feet really suck to walk very far on. Thankfully the compression stockings resolved that issue quite nicely and I can walk like a normal person again.Trucking in Tennessee and tucker Thank this.
