Truck stops all used to have attendants to fuel our rigs. And clean the windows and check the oil too.

But back then all the truck drivers were real short and unable to open the hood.
That’s why everyone stopped if they saw a broke down truck, it took about a dozen drivers to get that hood opened.

You must carry one of them there CB radios.
I took my CB out of the truck many years ago because I got fed up with stupid disrespectful drivers. The CB radio was a whole different environment back in the early 80s then it is today. There was way more respect.

The only place that I know of that still does that is the West Winds truck stop in Green River Colorado off Interstate 70 by Highway 191. But yes you are right it used to be with a lot of truck stops that they would check all that stuff for you but nobody does that anymore.

Ya $12 to park. When was the last time the restroom at that place was cleaned? It's been a long while. Absolutely disgusting. I wouldnt even consider eating anything there, would be scared to see what the kitchen looks like.

I passed on the shower. The food was terrible and overpriced. Indian run. I was out of hours and saw nothing up the road on the BG Parkway, so had to partake.

I keep one only cause i need it to talk to escorts and the occasional time I'm running with a buddy. And it's almost never turned to 19.

So did gas stations. I washed many a windshield when I was in high school. The ones that had MILFs with short skirts took longer.

That's a shame, that was once one of my favorite places. Haven't been there since I left Crete, hell, I can count on one hand with fingers left how many times I've even touched I-65 south of Louisville since leaving Crete.

There's one down there in Franklin where they'll be out there at night telling you where you can Make-A-Spot™ and not block anybody or be bothered in the middle of the night. It's across from a Flying J. Exit 2, I believe? Again I don't do that part of 65 much anymore.

As for the reserved parking, I get reimbursed for all road parking, so that's a yes from me, makes my life easier.

And with the vasculitis thing, before I got the compression stockings, I was reserving a spot even when the truck stop wasn't full so I could stay close to the building because severely swollen legs and feet really suck to walk very far on. Thankfully the compression stockings resolved that issue quite nicely and I can walk like a normal person again.

Trucking in Tennessee and tucker Thank this.
