Did you have to climb the pole to make the call?

That’s when I grab a forklift and do it myself, and when I have to grab a forklift people stay away from me because they know I’m pissed.

After reading this I will NEVER complain about waiting 10 minutes to get loaded again. God bless you guys and please explain WHY you do it?

To my knowledge, he doesn’t. I’ll leave the details to him though.

Well, I have the most distant run in my terminal relative to it’s density. It’s an area I like. I’ll never be bumped off the run because we have lifetime bids. I know where I’m going every day. I can enjoy a nice ride to get there and still feel like I can get something accomplished.

I don’t slip seat, pull the same trailer every day, and make 30 bucks an hour.

All things considered I can’t complain. Like I’ve told @johndeere4020 more than once since he’s walked in my shoes as I once walked in his, I enjoyed flatbed and hauling heavy equipment immensely. The money just wasn’t there though.

Depends on where you are and who you work for I guess, I’d take a substantial pay cut at any LTL around here except maybe UPS freight, not sure where they are now they might be close to me.

Interesting about the bids, is it that way in your whole company? I never asked your Columbus drivers.

    MACK E-6 Thanks this.
