Got my truck back and did a quick out n back to cleveland. Dispatch needed a load to baltimore covered so I volunteered which meant I had to do a 10 hour break at home and then hit the road asap. Left the terminal at 2130, stopped in S.Jersey for a few hours and then delivered at noon. Theres a reload at the same plant so after that was done i finished up an 8 hour break and departed late last night. Just got home and will get the weekend off, next week I'm planning on doing both Baltimore runs.

I've been busy, which is good, but out six weeks, which is probably out too long. I needed the money though. Ran in and out of Houston to the southeast a few weeks, then some runs to the west and midwest, then one to Edmonton. Should get home next weekend after the next run west. Lots of long runs, which is nice since if it takes a week to get there and back, that's only one opportunity to put on the suit.

I have to say I really like tanker. I see flatbedders now and wonder what the heck I was thinking haha.

Clogged filters. I'm running diesel kleen and bio kleen by Power Services and replacing my filters weekly for a bit. The CAT filters that i had used only lasted 8k miles.

With the family move to Texas, I've accepted a reassignment to our Pasadena branch. Start their training tomorrow for a few days. I'll start with nitric. Definitely spoiled in Louisville as the only thing I needed to touch was the BOL and a pen.

Doing a quick out-n-back to cleveland to change things up this week. Last few weeks just been doing dedicated runs to Baltimore. They pay good and its only 2 nights in the truck for the week but #### does the drive down and back suck. Also $200 in tolls per trip is just no good. I managed to get my average for the year to around 300 in tolls per month, but now thats blown out of the water with Septembers 1600 bill.

    Yes and no
We get 38% of the toll rate
    BUT
I think what they do is:
Lets say quote to customer is $1000 linehaul + FSC
then superior turns around and takes $100 for tolls (they claim its factored into the linehaul quote)
I get 62% of 900 and 38% of $100 which comes out to $596 instead of $620. The difference goes straight to the terminal P&L. At least that is my theory.

Not to be a a-hole, but does superior pay the other 62% of the tolls?
