Anyone use it and what are your thoughts. I e-mailed an association about their fuel card. Chris from rts (aren't they a brooker) called me back talking about a fleet 1 card. Basically .10-.14 off pump price at peelot, and flying j.

Hmmm I was hoping for bigger discount than that.
I figure at 100,000 miles a year. 6mpg= 16,666 gallons x.12=appx $2000 a year saving. MInus transction fee's. Comes out to about 1 month mortgage and car payment.
Dont get me wrong I'll take it, but I expected more than that.

RTS is a factoring company. I don't use them. .10-.15 is pretty normal for less than 5 trucks.

Check out schneider's carrier program. Unless you're not around TA's and Petro's. Depending on your volume, they'll probably beat RTS, OOIDA and the like.

You want cost plus pricing. NASTC offers it. It’s typically .30-.40 off at TA/Petro. If you pull Landstar loads, you can get the same discounts with their Savings plus program, but the only way to fund it is pulling a Landstar load.

If you are going to be fueling at ta/petro get nastc 40-50 cents off or higher . They don't offer a discount at pilot flying Jay . If you prefer small mom and pop locations get a fleet one edge card 20-25 cents off .

With all the talk on this forum about .30-.40 i thought .10-.15 was kinda low. I asked how trucks (not carriers) they had in thier program. Was told appx 20,000. That many trucks is a lot of fuel. Makes me wonder if there getting a better discount than there giving out, and profiting from the difference?

I liked that they dont require a membership (other than the one time $75 set up fee) I did not ike they want you to pick a day. Then they hit your bank weekly on that day.

Maybe I will (As much as I dont want to) Try nastc.

Of course they are, why else would they be in business? That’s a nice profit on 20k trucks.

Hello everybody. I'm in a process of choosing a fuel card. I have one truck and lease it to a carrier which uses the Comdata but keeps the discounts. Therefore I want to get my own fuel card. I consider RTS Carriers with their Pilot Flying J discounts, low fees-setup $75+$6/m+$0.5 in the network, $2.5 out of network (which I'm not gonna use). But only 1200 truckstops looks like a small network.
Also, I read about Fleet One Edge card. Did somebody have experience with this one? They claim that they offer savings on 3600 truckstops which is way more than RTS.

Wanted to get discounts at Loves too, but can't find any fuel card that offers discounts at Loves.

Heard about the option to set up the additional discounts with the current fuel card but not much info as well.

I was thinking about NASTC but scared about the $250 fee and their network without the pilot/loves. With the NASTC you basically tied to TA/Petro.

Can somebody give me good advise?? I'm researching for some time already but can't make a decision.

I have the Rts card and never have a problem finding a place to fuel . I like pilots and flying Js and the option for out of network fuel stops works well . I'm having a positive experience so far with Rts .
