It’s a new one on me. Last time I filled out an app was almost 16 yrs ago.I guess a Driver should check it occasionally or after a DOT inspection for false information. Haven’t been posting long . Somehow I’ve made it this far.

Honestly I don't know what a psp is either. Sounds too much like pap smear. I understand CSA and could honestly care less. I thought my MVR was good enough? My MVR is perfect. Should I pay for a pap smear just in case?

    Oldironfan and Rideandrepair Thank this.

1% variance on a set of axles is usually not a ticket. But no weight ticket gives your CSA any points.

Just fills the piggy bank for the D.O.T.

Well, you thought wrong. Your MVR might be perfect but the PSP is used just as much these days. I guess you haven't applied for an interstate job lately because you have to sign paperwork giving authorization for the perspective employer to get it. And if you don't have your own authority you really shouldn't care less about CSA/SMS. No way would I hire a driver on his MVR alone. The PSP tells the other half of the story. If you ever get turned down for a job because some moron put something wrong on your PSP you'll be paying $10 to see it and dispute it. It's very wise to pull it and view yearly IMO.

Actually in VA 10% is pretty close to to the variance on portables before they write the ticket. It's either escort you to the scale house or let you ride. In VA or MD when the portables come out you have bigger things to worry about anyway.

    Rideandrepair and DSK333 Thank this.
