I see your point but once you hit diamond level at Loves, no matter what carrier, you get 4 points per gallon.

that's the 'EPES mentality' lie as much as you can to make them look great! Remeber, kiddies, they 'care' for their drivers, that's why the office staff is treated like gold! Don't ever forget that. ;)

I don't use Love's all that much. But, good to know for me. Only a few runs I'll use Love's. I'm mainly TA and P/FJ for everything I've done so far. Going to the Northwest is a different story, though! Seems I found cool 'mom and pops' truckstops than the 'jammed up' usuals(P/FJ/TA...etc).

now GIVEN the miles DO state right over 141K....that IS possible, if you run out of Rockwall, TX terminal. However, Epes doesn't pay all those miles! The actual 'mileage' that driver was paid was probably close to 125K.....I can't tell you how many times I got runs that were 350 miles and the shortest distance was 450! You ALWAYS work for free at EPES and lower-end 'general freight' companies. It is best to get experience, HOPE YOU GET a good trainer(that had more than 5 years under their belt, and doesn't go around the terminal acting like they are EVERYBODY'S BOSS) and move on!

I wanted to chime in on the cameras. They are not driver facing, only forward facing and only alert safety if you get a rollover alert or hard break.

hmmm Tina was telling me other-wise, but this was about a year and a half ago. Maybe they were 'thinking' of getting them and decided against it?

Must have. Or maybe they are on certain trucks/accounts. I have a 28### truck that I’ve had almost a year and half and it’s only forward facing and no audio.

so they/you(depending on when they put you in it) got that truck back in 2017. I left back in 2016. Don't miss it, one bit. From saying that, I'm meaning treated like absolute crap by fellow driver(at terminal and truckstops, other companies) Tina told me this back sometime last year, so I don't know, or care about EPES anymore. GREAT company to start with, though. I have to hand it to them for that. get your 1-2 years in, and GO, QUICK! lol
