They have a very effortless pedal feel and is air assisted. Down side is it is very easy to abuse the brake and you can destroy it in short order if your not paying attention. Plus there is no clue when to adjust other that the brake is gone and the pedal hits the firewall.

What do you mean by non replaceable ujoints, like a giant c.v shaft for a driveshaft?

Automotive applications have non-greasable u joints that are permanently staked into the yokes. When a joint fails, you replace the entire shaft.

Well thats kinda ignorant, unless the shaft costs the same as a ujoint, which I highly doubt.

Driveline angles will cause vibration but has nothing to do with trans popping out of gear under load. Too much torque applied to trans for vibe to knock it out of gear. You sir have a bad trans.

Mine was the front hanger shaft. The spline end was not welded on true. They replaced both shafts cause they are built as as pair. My truck is smooth now. My shafts are SPL250 light series.

Peterbilt quality seems to have really suffered, this looks to be a widespread problem with the SPL250 Driveline

Technically this would be a Dana/Spicer issue. Their product happens to be installed on alot more than just Pete's.

KB3MMX, pushbroom and daf105paccar Thank this.
