The new Interstate 11 is being built right now and a portion of it is under construction in Las Vegas area. It will run from Mexico to Canada. Should be a few years of work there.

I don't know; maybe an underpass. Looks large enough for a two lane highway through each one.

 

Natural wildlife crossing bridges. They’ll be covered with natural earth. Seen them out in maybe Nevada or Utah also.

 

When I was there a couple months ago, I saw a lot of Las Vegas Paving Corp. trucks pulling side dumps.

Any pay worth your time, you’ll want to link up with a teamsters company. Las Vegas paving, aggregate industries, wells cargo. Most sub haulers in the valley work for either 1 of 3 major brokers here. Either Werdco BC, SR Trucking or Sticha trucking. That’s your dirt/asphalt haulers here.
Getting a double belly dump job with a ready mix company is pretty good work also. American eagle ready mix, Sierra ready mix or cal Portland all haul there own materials from various pits/quarries.
Everyone here is always looking for drivers. Construction is pretty steady but no company is the best company. They all have there ups/downs.
Most big companies here hire as needed and lay off as needed. So one company may make the hours but the pay not the best. The other has the best pay but they rarely make 40.
Check indeed and look at aggregate hauler for lafarge/aggregate industries. They are finishing up the US-95 between searchlight and Laughlin and will be starting SR-162. Road to Pahrump from blue diamond. It’ll be a pretty long job as we have our trucks already moving K rails and moving equipment for that job.
Its a cut throat town when it comes to dirt/asphalt hauling. Goodluck with your search
