He pleads the Fifth every time I ask him about it. I think he picked up that trick from @RedForeman ?

    Si senior.

Well. Did my Walmart trip. Bought Pecan Pie and some ice cream...

Between that and a microwave I think I’m gonna hurt myself...

Not Bear 135, nor did I stay at Holiday Inn. Just an old airplane driver. Red lighting is used in aircraft and ships to preserve night vision, the rods in your eyes are not as highly affected by red light as other colors of the spectrum.

Yep. I said muscles cause I'm old and couldn't think of it quick enough. Well that and I ain't smart enough to remember all them technical words and jargon. A lot of the time. When these fellas start in with throwin' out all this lingo and numbers about all them engines and Big Equipment I is totally lost. Truth is drippin' offin' that last one in particular.

Red or green seems best for night driving to me. Or amber, like stock gauge lighting. None of them bother me too much once I hit the dimmer switch. But I just can’t dim those blue ones enough to get comfortable with em.

I like @sawmill ’s idea of tinting the screen, as long as they’re still bright enough in the daytime.

I like it as dark as possible in the cab at night. That along with some good headlights and I can usually spot deer in the road or bar ditch in time to get slowed down.

Got back to Brandon for the night. Weird feeling ending up in the same place you practically started your day at.

Got to wait for the office to open tomorrow to get my load cleared for entry into the US, so I get to sleep in. Then from Williston I'm probably going to make Regina (might stay in Weyburn, I hate Regina) and my pickup appointment in Belle Plaine is 10 am on Thursday, so I'm going to be sleeping in a lot this week, lol.
