I never understood the craze of the blue lights in the cab.

Not long after my 21st birthday a plan was hatched on the tailgate of my pickup that my pards an me was goin to Mardi Gras down in the big easy. We had no idea we had no business there. Between the bead passin an drinkin we follow these ol gals in to a drinkin establishment called something pub? I take off to the latreen cause its past time. I come out and my pards is all gathered in a circle back to back. I know that means high alert we bout to throw down. So I ask wtf and Shannon says look out yonder we gotta get the hell outta here. So I look and what do I see but dudes with dudes. Out the door we went. Upon telling the story at an icehouse down the street we figured out that blue lights in winders meant it was a funny bar. And red lights meant it was a hoors den. I ain't sure that that applies to truckin or not. I hate giving wrong impressions so I stick with red just ta be safe.

In trucking, a blue light in your windshield, or any more than two headlights, or one headlight pointed up in every body's mirrors, are indicators of a fairy holding a wheel.

I have that exact radio and I hate the bright blue light to. You guys talking about red vs blue I didn’t know the scientific reasons behind it but I know blues harder to read than red. Along 33 before Dublin there’s a big LED sign that shows the time and temperature and it’s in blue, you can hardly read it.
