Well you weren't kidding about those negative reps @TripleSix. I've thrown a few of them in during some dumbbell work and yeah you definitely feel it the next day.

I've managed to up my deadlift max to 220 now for 4 sets of 5. Only problem now is that I'm at the weight limit on my bar. I'll have to upgrade that next lol.

Watch out for this guy...Larry Wheels. The guy benches close to 675 pounds, squats 900, deadlifts over 900, and does 500 pound seated military press...and he's only 23 year's old.

"CRAZY". Not even in his prime.

He MIGHT become the GREATEST powerlifter of ALL TIME...pound for pound.

This is why I had to get off the local linehaul type gig. Back pain. Sitting all day was not doing anything positive to my back or neck. Took a local Class B tankwagon job delivering fuel. Drove 100 miles in my 14 hour shift yesterday- not much sitting there!

Great advice on posture. This industry destroys the body. I wish I had paid more attention all those years. You dont realize it but over the years your upper back, shoulders and neck hunch forward and it gets painful. Once it's done theres no fixing it.

No its just a 5'×1" bar. Weighs about 15 lbs. Only rated to 200lbs max. In hindsight I should have bought a bigger bar. Live and learn.

Get a decent Olympic bar and a trap bar.
