does tmc require you to show dd214? i put my military experience on my resume/application but if i have to go through the process of reobtaining my dd214 i'd rather just not put the military experience on there.

Go to the National Personnel Records Center website.
Easy online request form.
They mail you a copy.
Simple.
Unless you got the Big Chicken Dinner, in which case you might not want to put your military time on the app.Mil2Sec2Trucking Thanks this. -

Are you going through their CDL program or going into it with your license? They may want the DD214 for the program because the "apprenticeship" will be paid to them by the .gov as part of your benefits.

They'll want your DD214 then. Upside to this is that if you leave before 12 months of working for them your benefits pay your balance and you aren't tied to the company.
Mil2Sec2Trucking Thanks this. -
a lot of companies want to see stable employment history. If you were in more than 10 years ago it shouldn't matter if you leave it off. If it was recently, you might consider putting it on there. You can always call them anonymously and ask about OTH discharge and desired work history.
Mil2Sec2Trucking and homeskillet Thank this. -
