Don't be like that. Maybe they just don't have anything that's dedicated or regional to you. Have you asked about driving 48? Maybe I just got lucky to get my Southeastern region. But keep your chin up and something good will happen.

Hang in there fellas, freight is very slow right now and it looks to be for the near future. As a trainer it has been very slow for me also as has it for Team Werner trucks. I talk to a husband/wife team with 7 years with the company and they have only been doing 3000-4000 miles a week. If the team trucks are slow, all of the trucks are slow. Werner can't make shippers give them frieght. Just look in your local paper, every day big companys are laying off or going under. This has put a huge damper on all companys, even trucking. I know the old saying people like to use "trucking is always busy no matter what the economy is doing, frieght has to move" well this is not true, if people are not buying frieght, the why will it still be moving. Times are hard and a job is a job right now. Werner has slowed down the hireing process a lot over the last couple of months, so it may take sometime.

My last 2 checks were $5.00 total. Low miles. Yeah u can take a $200 advance each week but a person has to pay bills and eat.

Take feedback like a grain of salt, many people will tell you "Werner sucks blah blah blah", Ive been with them for 3 years. They have not given me a reason to leave yet. What big company doesnt have their issues? I heard the big bad stories of Werner...you know why i chose werner? they have a terminal in Indianapolis, where i live, and they would let you have a rider right away. I knew their pay scale was kinda low, but you do have to start somewhere. But best of luck to you StrawberryWine....every company is what you make of it.

It takes a little time to learn the right macro messages to send. The "cheat sheet" they give you in orientation helps.

Talked to fleet manager this week about getting more hours. No help whatsoever. I guess the freight ain't there to haul? The FM's supervisor is no help either.
