Would you be willing to give us the name of your company so we can see what their scores are?

How long did you work for them?

Go right ahead. Everyone who has a DOT/MC number has their scores on file in the FMCSA database.
    Safety Measurement System - Overview (U.S. DOT# 74432)

Mind you,my employer is hazmat certified. But as long as the drivers like myself do their due diligence and make sure everything is order (paperwork, vehicles and otherwise),there shouldn’t be any major issues. And if there are rest assured they are dealt with proactively. Heck, this USED TO BE AN OUTLAW COMPANY. But times have changed.

Same story here. There’s always room for improvement in some departments. At least our hazmat rating is barely a blip on the radar.

I don't think you should have been so quick to chastise our company for minor issues on safety on dot inspections. Your company Marten has a long long list of defective equipment. And just because of that I'm not quick to say your company is trash. There is always room for improvement for all.

That may be but we do a better job of maintaining our fleet than some companies big or small. A good portion of O/Os on the road have bought our used equipment because we stayed on top of the maintenance. As I previously stated we used to be an outlaw outfit but we try to stay on the DOT’s good side-especially since were hazmat certified, something your company doesn’t have. With the small fleet your company has (66 trucks and drivers to match)some of these issues shouldn’t be an issue.

Whatever man. Your just trying to argue. Throw rocks all you want. The facts speak for themselves. I know we have a great company. There's always room for improvement for everyone including yours. And you and I can elaborate on that if you want. Nevermind I am bowing out and taking the high road.

Just having a discussion. And indeed the facts do speak for themselves. Just because a company is smaller doesn’t necessarily mean it’s better. Many drivers here can tell you that. You may have a good experience at your company, others not so much. Same with my company. That’s what the forums are for.
