Yea insurance will cover all that. But I only have 100K coverage and that’s what you require for like 97% of reefer loads. And if the product is worth more then 100K the broker shouldn’t give it to you.

Then I suggest you avoid McKesson in Memphis. They are million plus in value.

Don't give it away until you are check mated into buying it... even then, if that happens, it will then become property of your insurance company, that doesn't mean it becomes yours..

An extra 3 days on a chicken load and it's past the sell by date?? Not even cherries go bad that fast. Part of this doesn't sound right. It looks like it's boxed up, put it on shelf ready for sale. I may think differently if it was chicken still needing further processing, I haul that sometimes.

    I will.
I also found out. Maybe some of you drivers will have the same problem with your truck. When I broke down I got 2 check engine light on and I lost power the truck wasn’t going more then 3 mph and it was shaking I have took it to several truck stops and shops everyone was telling me that 3 injectors are bad but I have replaced all 6 of them and all horneses internal and out side once as well so I thought that my ecm went bad as one of the mechanics told me so I called freightliner dealer explained him everything and he said they won’t even touch it because I have everything bypassed means The previous owner took off the EGR and DEF system out and they just drilled the holes in the filter. Turns out ITS NO GOOD! And illegal. So one of the mechanic in VA gave me a number EDITED in NC it was about 52 miles away from me so called him that evening he called me back the fallowing day I bobtail to his house explained him what was happening with the truck and I have put in repairs about 35K since I bought it and I bought it 2/23/18 it’s always like repair one thing and another will break. I spend so much down time that I can’t afford even a tire repair now it’s really bad. So I told John that he is my last hope and I’m not going anywhere with out him fixing it and I will pay whatever he say. I explained him that I have had this problem before it happen 3 times to me. First time they replaced the injector horneses it was working fine for 2 month then I replaced injectors and horneses and now I’m here with the same problem. His mechanic spend good few hours inspecting it troubleshooting and found again that the injector horneses are shorting and ECM trows me all those codes and shutting off 4,5,6, injector. So he said it’s the injector hornes. Turns out that all those previous shops when they were telling me we changed your injector horneses the outside one I thought it was all those cables that goes from ECM all around the engine with like 1 mil connectors but they just changed the top part with 2 outfits. Turns out it was still original cable from 2011 full of oil and who knows what and it was just simply shorting. And it’s a pain in the butt to change it but they did it I got to him around noon they were working on it till midnight because John had to drive to the dealer 150 miles each way to get the part so I got out from the shop at 1am and they open only till 8am. Honestly I have never meet people like him and his family amazing people! The bill was like have what other guys charges me before I gave him and his brother $600 tip for saving the load. I still had like 520 miles to go. My rescheduled appointment was for 8am and I got there at 11am they said sorry it was rescheduled for 4am you can come back at 3am at this point I haven’t sleep or eat in 30 hours with my wife next to me (we just got married year and half ago :) )
Broker telling me it was all for nothing because I missed the appointment. At this point somehow I mannaged to control myself and my wife oh and before like 250 miles to delivery I managed to drive over something like long steal and it popped my brand new tire I didn’t even bother to change it I didn’t have time and it was all brand new Goodyear tires payed $3600 all 8 also I ran over a big deer few weeks ago it was already injured lucky me I have a deer guard but still it damaged my corned from front to back and one of his horns erns idk what it’s called got stock in my brand new tire from the side cost me 500 with some change at a truck stop. And those truck stops they over charge big time because they know you don’t have other options in most cases.

Anyway honestly I never will buy a used truck anymore and never Cascadia not even new. ISX or CAT glider only. Because every time I get the truck out of the shop I’m thinking to myself maybe this is it and then next week boom something else and another 3 or 4K out of my pocket.
Everything is good when it’s good but once something goes bad it just drags everything with it.

Maybe anyone know if the Cummins ISX15 made in China too? Because I know that there is just Cummins ISX it has a lot of parts inside from China the other parts idk just some for sure. Detroit in my situation 2012 Cascadia with DD15 every part is made in Mexico. Only CAT made in USA and that’s the way to go in my opinion. Blood sweat and tears I better spend money on fuel and drive with class then spending days and days in the shops in the middle of no where.

It's a lot of money. You don't want to own it, or pay for it. Let other people figure out what to do with it.

If you are an owner operator it might get more complex, but if someone else pays you to drive, let THEM figure it out. Keep all your documents and make sure instructions are sent to you by email or qualcomm.
