Why are semi fuel tank fillers not designed the same as automobiles?

    That's all I've ever done with my truck and it works just fine as long as you don't use the nozzle for cars, you would not like it if you had to use the same nozzle that cars use, I used one of those down in Oklahoma the other night and it took about 25 minutes to get 140 gallons.

    I had to do that one time because I was so low on fuel. Took forever to get a half tank.
