Agreed. Dispatch switched my load so picked up in Madison GA going to Orlando. Load had smaller window but a few more miles. I was in better position to pick it up as the other driver was stuck in FL. Stopped in Lake City at pickle park, yardstick 412. Outta here at 5am. Load due at 1pm but should have it there by 9am.

 

Someone is getting ready to open the old L&G truckstop at the 414 soon(under a different name). They've been remodeling it the last few months. My MIL told me what it's new name is gonna be, but I forgot what it was.

 

Cool. SSB! Frequently on that path. Last time, I stopped at the Loves there, I got up and went for a shower, and the power went off before I got to the building. Guess they couldn't handle my stank.

 

I live 1/2 way between there and the Alachua Wally and DG dc's. The area north of the Love's got hit by a bad t'storm not long before you got there that day.

 

Drop and Hook at Southeastern Freight co in Orlando this morning and ran back up to the Peelot in Jackson GA. Down to my last 97 minutes, but not facing Atlanta pm rush to try to pickup my next load in Fairburn. 536 miles is satisfactory to me. Headed back down to Lakeland FL and the Sam's Club DC for an 8am live unload Saturday. Back up to our Fairburn drop yard for a load to Four Oaks NC, Sunday, layover and pickup at Four Oaks again on Monday down to.McDonough GA Tuesday. This is how I like it! I know it will slow down after Christmas but I will take it while I can get it!

I saw it coming back. I was there at the TA.fueling at 6am. WTH! I get to go back that way tomorrow afternoon.

 

They had a murder suspect lead police on a chase that ended just past the turnpike split and then he got out of his car and open fired on sheriff's deputies who returned fire..

 

Hope they killed the SOB!
