Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

I was like: Ohh, ok, that makes sense.
_33 Thanks this. -

I think it came into play with the early social media sites. The more thanks/likes/eprops someone's blog recieved the more likely it would show up on the main page and would then attract more people to thier site.
It's effect on sites like YouTube are striking. People will post a video and the first thing they do is ask for likes and subscriptions before they even present thier content. How do we know thier content is even worth that before we view it?
I don't think it's nessasary on a forum. -

Makes no diff to me either way..I see the like or thanks and think to myself "ok cool"then its forgotten..It holds no water in my glass..
-
Yup. Nice to see but but we're not getting giddy tallying up likes and thanks. 10-roger?

If there was $ involved then its a different story..

Relativism.
That’s a slippery slope.
