As a general rule, I always seek permission from the manager of the store where I'm parking at while home or taking time off in some other place (i.e. a relative or friend out town or state). Of course my first choice would be a truck stop, however I know the are you live and those are a rare find out there.

I hope so. I know those tow bills are outrageous. I don't plan to try and arrange anything with the mall after I pick up the trailer, since I don't really expect them to be ok with that, so this is really just for the weekend.
I've seen lots of trucks over there, I just assume the driver is in there and if the cop says move along, they do, or as far as I know they have a delivery there and simply state that. I just don't know how much you guys get hassled yet on a regular basis.
Cops sit over there all the time too so it's hard to tell if he's there waiting for the tow or not lol. I'm really usually not a paranoid person! -

It crossed my mind, but what I have going for me is he has no way of knowing if I have an arrangement or not. If he asks, I may as well get dressed and prepare for a walk back from a truck stop...wherever that may be. He's still there, same spot, and there's not really anything for him to look at. Hopefully he's grabbing a catnap.

Pharm id go over and ask the cop if you can park your truck, there. You live at an apartment complex look for some empty spaces park the truck there.

No they are tow crazy here. It wouldn't even be a question. I can't take more than one spot and the hangover to the rear would be way too much. In 5 years I've never seen a semi in the lot. I've seen u-hauls get towed full of peoples stuff, moving IN. Nice welcome huh? It's apartments, but uppity, like suites. They're very proud of their living quarters here.

Well at least its only for the weekend what type of commodity are you going to be hauling with that truck?
