We don't have those heavey doors on flatbeds and those seals. I have seen 70 + age driver's doing flat bed and you would think the wind would blow them away. That's my goal, do it till I'm 72. I will be there before you know it.

I don't know..those tarps weigh 150 pounds..that's more than I. Then you gotta ratchet things down. Flatbedders have to be pretty rugged.

I'm kind of liking some of these sub-contract rates I'm getting from J.B. Hunt lately. I don't come down south much anymore, however, I had a broker offer me a "desperate" rate to Phoenix, AZ on Friday. So, I took it. Got a load out of Phoenix back to Ontario, CA.

J.B. Hunt hooked me up with a nice rate out of Ontario back to Portland. It's obviously one of their contract loads, seeing all the trailers in this place are J.B. Hunt trailers.

Tell your son he did a great job, but with a garage like that he definitely needed to light it up also. Lol.
I am in the early stages of planning a new garage very similar to yours. I may even put an apartment in up top just in case Mom needs to be closer to us in a few years.

Yeah, my son-in-law is coming over with his boom truck on Saturday to run the lights up the steep 12/12 roof gables and to hang another wreath my wife made today.

When I built the garage I framed it up for a live-in studio apartment above. It's all ready to finish...someday. ;-)
