FCC--Fremont Contract Carriers

It's bigger than Dalton and better strategic location in my opinion but it's not paved so it's muddy when it rains. Also, only one gate works so you leave the same way you come in. Messed me up first time I went in. A few of CR England and other owner ops who rent spaces and park their own vehicles in their too. We have six or seven spaces for our trailers.

 

Did not get enough time back for my split so Four Oaks is a tomorrow drop now. I let dispatch know but they didn't seem bent about it. Nothing I could do. Delivered three hours early, Saturday to give me a shot, but the 12 hour wait on Friday in Fairburn was the culprit and too much to overcome. Just waiting for my two hour break to.end to hit it! Still, gotta find parking close by at 9pm tonite.

 

Yep, thanks RM. That's where I wound up. No starting the clock until I have to. Only 10 hours left on my 70 and pickup 5 Tuesday after midnight.

 

Was it possibly the shipper we discussed earlier on Front Street in KCMO?

 

Wow!.I used to love going to U.S. Salt when I was with Cargo Transporters. They live loaded me quickly the two times that I went there and the scenery driving down NY 13 through wine country made me feel like I was in a different country. That's too bad. Next time you get it, flip it to me, I will take it. LOL!

 

Meanwhile, down in the southeast region. My medical supply delivery was a comedy of errors. They told me I would have to unload my trailer. WTH? I had a scheduled 8am but then they told me, no my appointment was at 10am so waited and had me back into a door. Waited until 1125 before they touched me. THEY UNLOADED ME IN 19 MINUTES! Yeah they realized that I wasn't a cold load and unloaded me. Four hours shot there! Ran over to Pennington Feed and seed in Madison.headed to the big O for tomorrow. At the pickle park in Sycamore GA for the night. Thank God tomorrow is a drop and hook. Yeesh. If time permits, lubing the chassis.and getting my fuel filters changed!
