80%?? Really? I would say it is closer to 100%. The thing is I want to remember a while back you were accused of over-dramatizing these risks because you were scared of the competition? Every single time someone makes a post in one of these threads we are accused of being depressing. Just know this. I know a heck of a lot more OOs that have failed then made it!

you had the right to NOT sign off the job, and complain to the insurance company, for a "repaired to pre-crash conditions"...
did the insurance adjuster go on over there and do a "pre-crash condition" inspection.?
that truck being so new, the would not have totaled it out.
the final bill you signed off, proved that.Via!via Thanks this. -

Yes i did checked my truck before leaving. But i didn't inspect in depth.I was the under impression that they are certified volvo mechanics and they know what they are doing.
They have provided me list of parts they replaced/repaired and i just trusted them... -
i won't advise to keep an attorney on a paid retainer. However you should have an attorney's card in your wallet. I won't dicker about with the other comments because they are right. I'm concerned though that the OP did not have the proper insurance. He should have had a rental truck or some form of income setup. Another point. Has this OP filed any kind of lawsuit against the responsible party? It seems to me that the OP had bad insurance coverage and has not spoken to an attorney. Did the OP save that camera footage? Charlotte is a big place. Largest city in both Carolina's. It is also a MAJOR trucking hub. I guarantee you there are some fantastic attorneys there. Find one ASAP!

yes, he should maybe go and talk with an attorney, hopefully one more familiar with the trucking industry, which may/may not be all that easy at times to find.Via!via Thanks this. -

That truck belongs to them as well as you. They do not want to lose money on it, but they will if it isn't fixed right, and you can't drive enough to pay the bills.
The loan company likely has lawyers on staff or on retainer who can navigate your legal options much better than you can, if you can get them to help you.
Good Luck.Via!via Thanks this.
