NW local or dedicated with Swift?

Hey...been a while. I was thinking of contacting quite a few different companies in search of returning. I don't remember everyone so much as before, so not sure who to ask, and perhaps it would be best for a recruiter to answer anyhow. Does anyone know if Swift has something dedicated out of Spokane WA and it's closest terminal in Lewiston to surrounding areas and back, like a super flexible, pseudo-local driver?

I have two dogs that grew up on a truck with me. With that being said, I'm not so sure if they could accommodate me with an older truck to keep us together, anyways. I am a former employee & contractor who left on rehire status per my DM.

 

I remember Walmart loads, as I did surge for a couple weeks in Loveland, pretty easy gig. I turned down the Grandview position because they couldn't get close to the regular Swift pay rate as a lease driver, the numbers didn't seem right. I would do it as a company driver though.

I've seen quite a few...you are right, they are heavily advertising. Been looking into their history...can't seem to figure what company it is anymore (palmer/prime) and what culture its derived from the mergers.

 

They seemed like alright people over the phone. Found out I won't be able to work for them, because of their new insurance carrier which requires driving experience within a certain period..6 months in the last year, or 1 yr exp in the last three. The latter almost worked for myself, though I put in less than a year with the last company I drove for.

They also mentioned something new to me. You are required/forced home time, no more than 5 weeks out. I asked what would happen if a zealous driver encroached on that 5 week policy, if he could continue rolling "towards home," and the recruiter didn't really have an answer.
