State PD and DOT

    So I have been listing to my radio scanner and lately I have been hearing the state PD of Oregon has been pulling trucks over for what they call a inspection. I was wondering if anyone has had to deal with this and what anybody's experience was. To me this almost seems like to boarder line harassment and what would the PD legality or what ever you what to call it is for doing this. I mean if a trucker aint speeding or anything how can they just pull you over of course unless trucks where blowing pass a scale house and that is what I been hearing is the Pd chasing down trucks that failed to get weight.

    It happens all the time.
    Just riding down the interstate and a cop pulls you over for a random inspection.
    I got pulled over on I 95 in Va a couple years ago and got a random road side weigh.
    I then continued 20 minuets up the highway and got weighed again at a fixed scale.

    Lots of states moving to mobile enforcement. More profitable. Driving cmv means they can stop you anywhere at any time. So long as you are on duty.

    That is messed up That they can do that. I swear cops in this country are nothing more then Nazis. Out on some kind of power trip. And of course having to deal with that type of crap screws with what u can make for the week and such

    Well, All that would stop if each of us "Drivers" Would park our trucks at Home and Turn on our scanners and Listen to whats going on beside the comfort of the Fireplace....And Devilishly Grin every time we here a report of someone getting in trouble.......Sound Good?
