Most anything without holes or gravy stains will be ok. No flip-flops or pajamas.

Casual long pants - jeans or whatever you like along those lines. Any shirt that doesn't have potentially offensive writing on it or the logo of another trucking company. No need for anything dressy. Try and get some work shoes asap....some companies will require them immediately...for sure you'll need them before getting on a truck and probably in the yard.

If you wear a collard shirt, good pair of jeans, clean sneakers and socks, you’re over dressed.

yes, those are dandy. You want a non slip sole, some ankle support, and resistance to oil/fuel.

nothing special is required by most companies. some (many) companies require flatbedders to wear safety-toe, some require tanker drivers to wear those also. if you're going into dry van or reefer regular toe is fine

Whatever you do, do NOT forget the fingerless driving gloves. The other stuff is fine, but the gloves show everyone that you’re a force to be reckoned with!!!! It’s all about the gloves
