Anybody else getting this from their offices? Rolled close to home and they said if I wanted home time I had to clear out my truck for someone else to use.

    For two days.

The real kicker is there are 25 trucks sitting in the three t/s around there waiting for loads. After todays bs I'm looking for another company.

I read about this stuff, and it makes me like my company more and more, I get home time every weekend and sometimes over night during the week. My truck is parked and plugged in just a few blocks from my house here and I do pay 50 bucks per month for that, but it is Worth it.

Are they willing to put you back in that one, or do you get whatever is sitting there?

If they are slip seating you into other trucks,it's different than letting someone run local with it while you are off, something tells me they want it cleaned out so they can give you whatever is there when the time comes.

If they are short of trucks as a business, they may not want to let 1 sit for a few days.

I'm with Wiseguy on this one. Glad I have my low paying weekend OFF job.

His may not be low paying LOL. But I do enjoy being home every weekend.

Pay is a tad bit higher than the mega Companies, but not really high, But I do get enough miles to make me happy. thus I gross around 1000 per week. sometimes more sometimes a bit less.

The real kick to the head is that I spend months and months out and I get this treatment. And they had 7 trucks in the yard, all spotless and clean waiting for new drivers, but screw the old ones. Just to get them back, I'm going to take home time at my sister's.

    In another state.
