HAVING THE TIME OF MY LIFE...THANK YOU ACT

Hey folks. I am new to this group. Kind of embarrassing to say but I was just introduced to this site. I just wanted to pop in and give a huge shout out to ACT for helping to change my mind on the OTR industry. Almost 9 years ago I was on the verge of throwing in the towel and hanging up the keys for good. On a last ditch effort to regain my love for what I did I applied to a smaller family owned company called American Central Transport. From day 1 I felt that there was truly something different with these people, but was still a little concerned. You know.... "The to good to be true" thing? Well by the time I got out of orientation and got my truck I was pretty convinced. I have hit the jackpot... I have found a place to call home. And you know as each day passed I was more and more convinced. For starters everybody, and I mean EVERYBODY, treated me with respect and was honest. I have never in my whole driving career been treated like this as a driver. Though there were some bad times, like there always will be in transportation, they did everything that they could to see that the issues were quickly resolved. To say that I was respected and appreciated as a driver and treated like a person is an understatement. I could go on and on about why I love where I am at. My miles, my money and time with my family....ect…. but I'm sure that you all have other things to do. LOL. .
